Here is a throwback to the last Christmas here in the Windy City and unlike the previous twenty some months, people were together again and cheered. Oddly enough, shoulder to shoulder, mostly unmasked visitors all over the place eating traditional German food and drinking hot gluhwein, I never caught COVID while visiting here multiple times.

As my luck would have it, I caught the Omicron after the holiday break when I started going back to my absolutely deserted downtown office.
Go figure…
