This is work of artists Heather and Fex BeGaetz of Portland, OR who create larger than life sculptures.

Spectra, a button snail, is the most vivid of the five, adorned with the most striking color scheme which glimmers in the sun. And because this statue is exposed to direct sunlight from sun up to sundown, there is no shortage of glimmer.
You may also work up a sweat to get to it, because this one is the farthest from the set. Also on the East side, it is about half-a-mile trek from the Parking Lot (I think it is P9?) and the statue is atop a steep hill, overlooking the I-88 rush hour traffic.

The views from here are great, but the expy is loud, in every sense of a word. A striking juxtaposition: a silent, larger-than-life snail overlooking tiny cars racing by, causing absolute ruckus.
