After a Piano Recital

To say that the Chicago Cultural Center’s (former library) interior architecture is amazing would barely do it any justice. That is why I used to keep coming back to this place. I do hope I’ll be back one day yet again, though I haven’t stepped a foot downtown Chicago for over 7 months now. Thanks COVID!

This particular pic was after a wonderful piano recital of one of Chicago’s student pianists at the local arts college. Who would have thought that the next time I would be allowed to see that iconic coupola and heard a piano ring through this concert hall would be during Jennifer Hudson’s closing performance at the 2020 DNC virtual conference. Strange times.
