This is work of artists Heather and Fex BeGaetz of Portland, OR who create larger than life sculptures.
Generosity is whopping 22 feet tall, modeled after white-tailed deer, which is plenty abundant in Illinois and can be seen at the Arboretum as well. Legs deeply rooted into the ground like tree trunks and wildlife perched atop its antlers keep it company.
